Day 1 & 2 : Day of arrival. Discovery of Bishkek with an English-speaking local guide, exploration in the mountains of Ala Archa National Park, opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games 2026 in Bishkek.
Day 3 to 8 : To the north shore of Lake Issyk-Kul to reach the heart of the World Nomad Games. On site every day: ethnic sports competitions, demonstrations and traditional shows, ethno-village catering and tasting. Also included in the stay in ancillary activities (according to your wishes!): local cooking class, traditional bread making workshop, kayaking out on a lake with a monitor, excursion in hot springs, hiking with guide.

DAY 1 & 2 - Bishkek (capital) • Ala-Archa National Park • world nomad games opening ceremony> 30 & 31 August
Welcome to Kyrgyzstan! When you arrive at Manas Airport, a driver is waiting for you to transfer to the city centre of Bishkek where you enjoy a local breakfast / welcome coffee. Then check-in with our friend Azema who welcomes you (in French!) in his small family hotel.
In the afternoon, a driver picks up the group, direction: the Ala-Archa National Park, located 40kms from the city, for a first immersion in nature at the foot of the Celestial Mountains. This nature reserve extends over more than 2,000 hectares with peaks reaching almost 5,000m altitude! It is home to many glaciers and is known for its beautiful forests of pines, rivers and impressive gorges, which you can discover during a short easy and pleasant hike. In the evening, traditional dinner at the restaurant.

In the morning of the 2nd day, guided tour of Bishkek: from its cultural sites to its must-sees, through its local bazaars! Lunch in a traditional restaurant. In the afternoon, free time to enjoy the swimming pool of the hotel... Or the fervor that will have settled in the capital! And yes, it is officially the national holiday and the beginning of the World Nomad Games festivities: the opening ceremony is taking place tonight! Note: Tickets for the ceremony are not included (no information on their sale is yet known). But if you want to attend, the Azema team can take care of buying tickets for you.

You embark with the group and your driver for several hours of driving: towards the northern shores of Lake Issyk-Kul to reach the heart of the
World Nomad Games which will begin the next day. Afternoon free to enjoy the green setting of the yurt lodge, relax, try a traditional cooking class... Or an outdoor activity! In the evening, welcome dinner at the yurt lodge.
Starting the next day, the World Nomad Games will start: the next days will be a mix of sports events, cultural immersion, and nature! You will be able to count on daily shuttles to ensure your transportation to the ethno-village and the trials. On site, enjoy the whole event in complete freedom (we may meet each other!). Every day: ethnic sports competitions, demonstrations and shows, ethno-village catering and tasting, medal ceremony... And a festive atmosphere guaranteed!
Throughout the stay, take advantage of additional activities according to your wishes: local cooking classes to learn how to prepare traditional Kyrgyz dishes, traditional bread making workshop, kayaking out on a lake with a monitor, excursion to hot springs, 3 or 4h hiking in the valley which serves as a natural setting at the World Nomad Games...
