Hidden Face

It was behind the windows of a sleeping bus that we first observed this country. We came from the infinite lands of Mongolia - known to be the place with the lowest density of inhabitants in the world - and our bus had deposited us in the heart of Beijing, a megalopolis grubbling with millions of people (speaking English only with extreme parsimony and whose culture was totally unknown to us!).
After Immersing myself a few days in crowded places, having wandered in surprising markets, the Hutongs to the charm of old and visited some extraordinary temples, we went wandering to discover what was most intriguing: the hidden face of the millennial masterpiece... The legendary abandoned parts of the Great Wall of China.
